Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect while receiving therapy?

Therapy is a lot of things! Of course you will have space to talk about your emotions, but therapy offers much more than that. Therapy allows us to challenge our negative thoughts, behaviors and beliefs. You will be encouraged to explore past experiences and traumas that we often times hide deep within our minds. With guidance, you will begin to make connections to past traumatic experiences and current struggles, allowing your to process, and finally let go.

Do you accept insurance for therapy services?

We do not accept insurance, but can offer “superbills” that can be submitted to your insurance company to go toward your out-of-network deductible. Most insurance plans will cover between 40-70 percent of the out of pocket cost toward your OON deductible. We encourage you to check with your insurance carrier to understand what your benefits are. We are also able to accept ecclesiastical pay as well.

What if I feel I need more than 1 hour of therapy per week?

Throughout the therapy process, you and your therapist will continually review your progress, and make updates to your treatment plan as needed. You always have full control of your treatment, and will be trusted and respected to know what is best for you as an individual.
